Bavarian Auto Technik is one of Irelands foremost independent BMW specialists to deal with any problem you may encounter with your BMW. We have grown to become the best independent service facility for high-end German vehicles in the Midwest. We are proud to count many of the regions leading citizens as valued clients. Our reputation is based upon delivering first-rate service at a fair price.

What we do

We specialize primarily in BMW, Mercedes and VW/Audi. In our workshop we have the most up to date equipment and special service tools necessary. Our extensive store has the most comprehensive parts stock of BMW parts in Munster. We offer original BMW parts or OEM (original replacement parts). This allows us to perform most repairs without having to order, or wait for parts.

We can perform service and repair operations to the highest levels. We aim to provide our customers with a personalised service.

We have the very latest diagnostic equipment so we are able to solve even the most difficult problem on your car. We can perform diagnostics and upgrades on your car to a level which to date only main dealers provide, but our equipment now allows us to achieve these levels and also exceed them.

Our technicians are highly trained and experienced. Founder and owner Ger Collins spent years working in German garages and gained invaluable experience servicing Mercedes Benz, BMW and Audi vehicles. He set up Bavarian Auto Technik in 1997 and has grown to be one of the largest independent repair facilities in the Midwest.

Our reputation is built upon providing first-quality personalised service to owners of German vehicles. We perform all mechanical service work — routine maintenance, heavy repairs, and difficult diagnostics.

We also provide a collection and delivery service for our customers. We overhaul engines, automatic gearboxes, manual gearboxes and differentials. We can also provide replacement engines, gearboxes - manual and automatic. Full reconditioned complete with 1 year warranty or good used parts where and when available.

We also can advise you on on the best way to repair your car. In many cases when problems arise it may only be a small problem. For example, a simple defective thermostat can often cause overheating. Our technically advanced equipment along with our computerized access to all factory service bulletins means accurate diagnosis and repair and fast service that will save you money and give you peace of mind.
